Your evaluation

A thorough evaluation, and a clear answer.

Dr. Lee evaluates you herself, from your history and a full physical exam to your MRI or X-rays, and tells you whether non-surgical decompression is right for your disc. If it is, you know exactly what a program involves before anything starts. If it is not, you know what she suggests instead.

Step by step

The visit

1

Before you arrive

Bring your MRI or X-ray. If you cannot get the images, bring the report or email it to the office ahead of time. No imaging yet? Come in anyway, and Dr. Lee refers you if you need it. Park free in the reserved spots on levels 1 and 2 of the attached garage, and bring your spouse or a family member if you like.

2

With Dr. Lee

She goes through your history, examines you, checks how your muscles and nerves are working, and looks at your MRI or X-rays with you. Then she explains what she sees and whether non-surgical decompression is an option for you.

3

Her recommendation

If she recommends a program, she walks you through what it includes, the total cost and the payment options.

4

If you go ahead

Dr. Lee tells you when care can start. Nothing is decided for you, and nothing starts until you say so.

What you leave with

You know where you stand.

What is causing the pain

Whether a disc or nerve problem is behind your symptoms, and where in your spine it is, based on everything she finds in your evaluation.

Whether you are a candidate

A yes or a no, with the reason. We only accept cases we are confident we can help.

What a program would involve

What your program includes, the total cost and the monthly payment options, all before anything starts.

What to do if it is not a fit

Dr. Lee tells you what she would suggest instead, so the visit is useful either way.

“Dr. Lee does a great job understanding your issue, showing you why it’s happening and providing a plan to help the issue long term.”

Paying for care

Why this care sits outside insurance, and why that works in your favor.

Under insurance

The policy decides your care

A plan pays for what it has a code for: short visits, medication, injections, surgery. It sets how many visits you get and when you are done, whatever your progress.

At Prime Spine

Your evaluation decides your care

Dr. Lee builds your program around everything she finds in your evaluation. She re-examines you along the way and adjusts it as you improve.

Under insurance

Non-surgical decompression is rarely covered

Most plans do not cover a non-surgical decompression program. A full program aimed at the disc itself was never something insurance was built to pay for.

At Prime Spine

You know the full cost before you start

The total for a program and the monthly payment options are on the table at the evaluation. Financing is available.

“3 weeks later now, my grandpa is in a significant and incredible better condition.”
I took my grandfather to see Dr. Lee after I saw how bad he was from lower back pain caused by herniated/deviated disks and other conditions. It only took us 1 visit to decide on proceeding with the recommended treatment.

“Immediately after my consult, I said yes.”
Why so quickly you may ask, because of the way Dr. Lee took her time explaining how it works.
